Color Fest 2019 in Dar Es Salaam Vlog

Todays vlog is at the Holi Color Festival (Color Fest 2019) in sunny Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. What a great day for all the family- apart from the sun burnt head! Lots of music, dancing, food, drink, water, colours. The event was held at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Oysterbay, Dar Es Salaam on Sunday 24th March 2019.

Holi originally comes from India and Nepal and is also known as “festival of spring”, “festival of colours”, or “festival of love”. This ancient Hindu festival signifies the arrival of spring and the end of winter. It also celebrates the arrival of a good spring harvest season.

Wonderful day for all of the family and it looks like everybody enjoyed themselves.
